Commercial document attestation is the official certification of company and trade documents, so that they can be used for official purposes. MOFA attests commercial as well as personal documents.
Documents issued outside the UAE are attested in the country of issue first; some, such as powers of attorney, are signed before a notary or legal authority there before attestation. Commercial invoices and certificates of origin go through MOFA’s separate electronic service (eDAS).
